The internet is full of hate, misinformation, and everyone feels so strongly that their side is the right side they refuse to listen to anything else. As if admitting someone else has a good point is admitting defeat.
The main reason I feel full of anger when I go online is that no-one seems to be doing their own research. This is leading to everyone on each side of whatever cause just screaming the same ‘facts’ at each other without any sort of debate. Debate is an opportunity to learn from each other.
I’m going to do my research. I’m going to give my opinion. I’m going to upset some people. However, I hope at least one person opens their mind to the possibility that there may be more than one right answer to an issue, or it’s really somewhere in the middle.
